If you're organising an event, campaigning on an issue or need some advice, the Rector is here to help. 


Kevin will be holding drop-in 'surgery' sessions at various points this semester,  from 2-3.30pm in the Union Main Bar.
The dates for this semester are
Wednesday 20th October,
Wednesday 3rd November,
Wednesday 24th November and
Wednesday 8th December.

Feel free to email Kevin on rector@st-andrews.ac.uk, or Amanda, the Rector's Assessor on al382@st-andrews.ac.uk with any questions, or just drop in to the sessions

In some countries, including Germany, the position of head teacher in secondary schools is designated as rector. In the Netherlands, the terms Rector and Conrector are used commonly for high school directors. Thanks for sharing.

I read some thing comparable to this post via google news… I became interested and then started looking around, and landed at this site… in any case, I think that I mostly agree with what you discuss here. But I am going to go see what else I can lookup too.

In many Germany schools a principal is the head superintendent of a school who has been selected to it’s position by the school board.
